Formats, metadata, review, and FTP bulk upload
Workflow
- Choose asset type: photos/illustrations as JPEG (PNG only for background-removed cutouts), or vectors as SVG/EPS/AI/PDF.
- Our AI vision model reads each image and writes title, tags, and category after upload.
- An admin reviews each asset — approved work goes live; rejected work includes feedback.
File formats
Photos and illustrations: JPEG (.jpg). PNG only when the image is a transparent background-removed cutout. Vectors: SVG, EPS, Adobe Illustrator (.ai), or PDF. Max 25 MB per file.
Status glossary
- Pending review — Submitted and waiting for admin approval. Not visible on the public site.
- Live — Approved and visible to buyers on NeuralStash.
- Not accepted — Did not pass review. Check feedback on Portfolio or My assets, then resubmit if allowed.
- Withdrawn — Removed from the review queue or saved as draft.
Title tips
Optional before submit — AI writes the title from the image content after upload (not from the filename).
Good: Minimalist blue geometric waves; Corporate team meeting in modern office
Avoid: IMG_4521; cool pic; ALL CAPS TITLES
Keywords
Optional before submit — AI assigns 15–40 tags from the image. Refine later in Portfolio if needed.
Aim for 5–50 relevant tags. Avoid: image, photo, picture, art, nice, best, your username.
Content source
Required once per batch (default: AI-generated). Override a single image only if the batch is mixed.
- AI-generated — Created primarily with AI tools.
- Real photograph — Captured with a camera; minimal AI.
- Mixed or edited — Photo plus significant AI or compositing.
- Other — Does not fit the categories above.
FTP / bulk upload
Contributors with SFTP access can upload to a dedicated inbox folder. Use the FTP panel in your dashboard for credentials. The same format and content rules apply as the web uploader.
Common questions
Do I need keywords before I submit?
No. Drop images, choose content source, and submit. Our AI reads each image and assigns title and tags; you can refine them later from Portfolio.
What file types can I upload?

When will my work go live?
