Contributor terms
Rules for uploading to NeuralStash
Last updated: July 19, 2026
These Contributor Terms apply when you enable selling and upload assets to NeuralStash. They supplement our Terms of Use and the public buyer license. By uploading you agree to these terms.
Your rights and our license
You retain ownership of work you submit. By uploading, you grant NeuralStash a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, promote, and distribute previews and full files to end users under our public buyer license.
NeuralStash does not require exclusivity. You may list the same work on other non-exclusive marketplaces only if you have the rights to grant NeuralStash this license and you are not bound by an exclusive deal elsewhere for those files.
You are responsible for accurate content-source labeling (real photo, AI-created, or mixed) and for compliance with the license terms of any tools or source material you used (commercial redistribution and stock sublicensing must be allowed).
By uploading, you confirm that
- You own or have rights to distribute the work you submit
- Content does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, or publicity rights
- You will provide accurate titles, keywords, descriptions, and content-source information (AI-assisted metadata may be refined after upload)
- Submissions may be rejected or removed at our discretion
Review process
New uploads are prepared and checked before they appear publicly. Only approved assets appear on the site, in search, and on the homepage. Some items may take a closer look before publish.
Rejected uploads and storage
- When an asset is rejected, the original master file is removed from storage.
- A watermarked preview may be retained for up to 30 days for contributor reference, then purged.
- If the master was purged, you must upload a new file to resubmit — metadata-only resubmits are not allowed.
Prohibited content
- Illegal content, hate imagery, or explicit adult material
- Deepfakes intended to mislead about real individuals
- Malware, spam, duplicate uploads, or unrelated files
- Content you do not have rights to license for stock distribution
Earnings
Contributor analytics and portfolio tools are available in your dashboard. Earnings and payout settings are managed through your contributor account when payment features are enabled for your account.
