Do I need to attribute royalty-free images?
NeuralStash’s default attribution rules — and when a quiet credit line is still worth adding for trust.

Under NeuralStash’s standard royalty-free license, attribution is not required for most commercial and personal uses. Always double-check the license page for your case — especially if your contract with a client adds stricter rules.
When a credit line still helps
Even when it is optional, a short credit can build trust:
- Editorial blogs that cite visual sources
- Academic or nonprofit materials
- Design systems that document asset provenance for future teammates

A credit format that stays out of the way
Image: NeuralStash plus a link to the asset page is enough. If a contributor profile is linked from the asset, you can include their display name.
What attribution is not
Attribution is not a workaround for restricted uses. Crediting a file does not let you resell the raw asset as stock or imply an endorsement the license forbids.
